Diabetics like Inhaling Insulin

So, this is kind of interesting-according to a recent study, use of Exubera over insulin acheived comparable results, but patients had greater satisfaction. An interesting point with this-the patients were aged 12-17 and had type 1 diabetes. Check it out here.

That is a very interesting study. Do you suppose that we, as pharmacists, should do a better job of informing patients of the availability of this unique medication. Perhaps more patients would enjoy the comforts afforded to them via this administration route.

Also, I can only get out of bed in the morning when I have the hope of seeing a new blog from the wonderful and spectacular J.Anderson.....no, wait, that is too obvious....Jared A. Please update this blog site more frequently. We are all hanging on your every word.

P. aeruginosa is an oppurtunistic pathogen found rarely in fatal forms of pneumonia.

Interesting because of two reasons
1 He saw his opportunity to rip on you and did JA
2 pneumonia is a contraindication to this stupid drug

P.S. oh yea JA, where are you? you left us today!
